PARTNER ROTATION POLICY

Our Partner rotation policy is developed to address the critical question of auditor independence. Our current policy is that the Partner may only lead the client service team for a maximum of five years and managers for a maximum period of three 3 years.

The firm is continuously investing in staff development to keep them up to date with the fast pace of change. Our staff are exposed to:

  • Attendance at Mandatory Continuous Programme Examination (MCPE) organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN)
  • Attendance at industry-focused workshops and seminars.

The adherence to standards and best practices in audit and other services is assured by our Quality Review Programme. This includes an independent review of work-done and procedures to ensure compliance with quality and risk management policies.

OUR EXPERIENCE

Members of our firm have in-depth understanding and experience in statutory audit, special and investigative audit, taxation and management consultancy services.

Below are areas of tested experiences of our team members;

  • Serve as a Consultant for the collection and recovery of contributions to the Nigerian Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) under the Employees’ Compensation Act (ECA), 2010. We assisted the Fund to generate over N400 million as remittance between June 2013 and December 2013 in respect of clients assigned to our firm.
  • Work with the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) for Bank Receipt and Remittance Audit, among other services.
  • Serve as tax Consultant to Lagos Internal Revenue Service (LIRS)
  • Work as Independent Auditor and/or Financial Consultant to the following Industries among others;
    • Financial Institutions (Micro Finance Bank, Mortgage Bank and Saving & Loan Companies)
    • Libra Circle Limited
    • Ikeja Electric
    • Kogi State Government
