LAWAL KOLAWOLE WAHAB
Kola has an HND in Accountancy and Finance from Yaba College of Technology and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Obafemi Awolowo University. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) in 2000, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACITN) and an Associate member of Nigerian Institute of Management (AMNIM).
Kola worked briefly with the firm of Adeisa Durojaiye & Co. (Chartered Accountants) after qualifying as Chartered Accountant, where he acquired practical experience in auditing and accounting profession. He thereafter joined Audit and Control Department of Gulf Bank of Nigeria in 2001 and became Zonal Auditor in 2003 saddled with the responsibilities of planning and coordinating the control activities of branches in his zone. Before 2005 banking consolidation, he moved to Inspection Department of Intercontinental Bank Plc where he was opportune to work in various Units of the Inspection Group such as Quality Assurance & Process Development, Fraud & Investigation, Branch Audit, Subsidiary & Head Office Audit and Customers’ Complaint. Intercontinental Bank job exposed him to several financial institutions such as Primary Mortgage Institution, Micro Finance bank, Capital Market and Finance outfit where he led team to carry out inspection exercises.
Kola possesses over 15 years of uniformly blended high quality work experience in corporate audits, with services spanning across financial institution that have Mortgage investments, Micro Finance Bank, Insurance, Security Outfit (Stock Broking Firm), Capital Market, Registrar, Courier service, accounting records and business model development. He also worked with the Sub Committee of Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria on Ethics and Professionalism where reported cases of unethical charges on customers’ accounts were reviewed.
Kola is a financial consultant who has acquired skills of finance and control from banking and professional accounting firm.
He disengaged from the banking sector in 2012 and joined Temitope Awe & Co. (Chartered Accountants) to improve his professional career, and rose to Senior Manager before he disengaged.
He resigned his appointment from Temitope Awe & Co. (Chartered Accountants) in May 2021 and began full professional private practice after being licenced by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).
AKINSOLA KAZEEM ADISA
A graduate of Mass Communication from Ogun State Polytechnic, Abeokuta, a Master Degree holder of Public Administration from Ogun State University, Ago-Iwoye and First Class Accounting Graduate from Salem University, Lokoja. Kazeem is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) and Associate Member of Certified National Accountant (ANAN).
Kazeem has over 18 years of progressive work experience in the Banking industry covering; Branch Operations and Internal Control, in two major commercial banks in Nigeria, Wema Bank Plc and the defunct Intercontinental Bank Plc. Ten of those years saw him through all the gamut of bank branch operations, while the remaining eight years were in bank inspection/internal control, risk management, compliance and continuous process improvement functions of a bank.
He resigned as the Deputy Departmental Head, Branch Audit in Intercontinental Bank Plc where he supervised over 50 employees and oversaw the audit of over 300 branches of the bank. His audit job covered confirmation of compliance with policies and identification of emerging operational and business risks, and ensuring prompt response by recommending policies and procedures amendment to Quality Assurance and Process Improvement Department of Inspection Group.
Kazeem left banking and joined Temitope Awe & Co. (Chartered Accountants) and rose to the post of a Principal Consultant.
He joined Kolawole Wahab Lawal & Co. (Chartered Accountants) as one of the co-founder and the Partner responsible for Quality Assurance and Process Review of the firm.
OLAYEYE CLEMENT TIMILEHIN
Timilehin is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He holds National Certificate of Education (NCE) from Lagos State College of Education, Bachelor of Science in Accounting (B.Sc) from Abia State University and Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Obafemi Awolowo University.
He started his career with Lagos State Teaching Service Commission as a Classroom Teacher and he was a tutor of knowledge to the people for over 10 years. He voluntarily resigned his Teaching appointment in 2001 and joined IMB International Bank in March 2002 as a Branch Controller. He left IMB International in 2003 for Gateway Bank Plc and worked in Intercontinental Bank Plc and Access Bank Plc thereafter. While in the Intercontinental and Access Banks, he worked in Customers Complaint & Reconciliation Department of the Inspection Group. He became a Team Lead in Reconciliation Department while in Access Bank and finally resigned his appointment in January 2012. He is the founder and Managing Director of Logbenla Nigeria Ltd, a company that deals in Tax Consultancy & Financial Advisory Services, Forensic Auditing & Fraud Investigations, Debt Recovery for Corporate Bodies, Financial Institutions and Asset Management Corporation and Individuals, Anti-Fraud Services – Fraud Prevention and Detection; Fraud Risk Health Check / Fraud Risk Assessment and Trainings & Manpower Development. He became an Associate Partner in Kolawole Wahab Lawal & Co. (Chartered Accountants) in June 2021.
